You spent how much??? And you still need more???

Really???

How well do you know Eric Holder?

Warning – Warning – Warning Purely political rant coming on!!! "In 1997, Holder made history … when President Clinton nominated him to be the deputy attorney general. Holder was quickly confirmed several months later by a unanimous vote in the Senate. He was the first African-American elected to the position" Every Senator who was […]

This was a good day for America… and I hope it lasts

Whether you are a gun owner or not, this was a good day for America. The law triumphed over manipulation by those who would seek to circumvent it. The Constitution has been pulled, pushed, prodded, poked and pissed on by people who don’t like the things it says. Despite that, it has managed to survive […]

“… the decorous quarters of the Senate”

What an insidious sickness we have submitted ourselves to in the name of “comity”. A group of good old boys (and girls) have entrenched themselves on the shores of the Potomac in an almost ironclad posture that has been strangling the life out of America’s freedoms. How did we get here? Frankly, […]

You wouldn’t shoot an unarmed man would you?

Over the weekend I found myself watching one of the cable stations that plays old westerns. The movie was an oldie starring Randolph Scott in a very interesting role for him. He was actually a bad guy who was pretending to be a good guy. The movie was probably made later in his career when […]

1913 was a very unlucky year – an entire country lost its freedom

Congress made November 11th a day to remember Veterans then promptly forgot to hold the people responsible for their care accountable. The backlog of unresolved cases at the VA is higher […]

Exceptional – Does it matter to you?

Look up the word exceptional in the dictionary and a few of the words stick out right away: Rare Unusual Superior Extraordinary By extension, the word exceptionalism is the condition of being exceptional which includes all of those superlatives. It is the belief that something as large as a country does not have to […]

I just heard… Harry Reid might be a Chinese communist

Well, actually, I just said it out loud as I was talking to my best friend. So technically, I really just did hear it. Was it a trusted source? Yes, yes. I trust my source with my life. Can it be verified? Well, it gets a little tricky here. I can verify that I heard […]

The hardest work you will ever love should not cost you your vote.

In the short time I have spent on this planet, I have had a number of jobs. All of them have had their challenges and rewards and I feel blest for having had the experiences I have had. Beyond any shadow of a doubt though, my time in the service was probably the roughest and […]
