A time to mourn.

3Β There is a timeΒ for everything,
Β Β Β Β and a season for every activity under the heavens:

2Β Β Β Β Β a time to be born and a time to die,
Β Β Β Β a time to plant and a time to uproot,
3Β Β Β Β Β a time to killΒ and a time to heal,
Β Β Β Β a time to tear down and a time to build,
4Β Β Β Β Β a time to weep and a time to laugh,
Β Β Β Β a time to mourn and a time to dance,
5Β Β Β Β Β a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
Β Β Β Β a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
6Β Β Β Β Β a time to search and a time to give up,
Β Β Β Β a time to keep and a time to throw away,
7Β Β Β Β Β a time to tear and a time to mend,
Β Β Β Β a time to be silentΒ and a time to speak,
8Β Β Β Β Β a time to love and a time to hate,
Β Β Β Β a time for war and a time for peace.

This is truly a time to mourn. AGAIN. It seems like we never stop mourning because of the decisions of nameless and faceless bureaucrats. Most of them have never been to war. Frankly, too often they have never worn a uniform at all. Yet their decisions and agendas all too often send brave men and women to an early death. Something about that seems unfair.

I don’t want to hear another lifetime political hack mouth the platitudes I have heard this afternoon. Left and right. If you are not willing to act on the words you speak, shut the hell up. Read these words over again and pray for forgiveness. Your lack of courage to do the right thing is costing people’s lives. Their blood is on your hands. In the meantime, I will mourn. I grieve the loss of anyone who has been sent into harm’s way without leadership. As someone who served during the Vietnam Era, I have had enough.

  1. Well said Mr.Mac. God Bless those soldiers lost today, and those trying to recover from their injuries. Bless the families here in the U.S. mourning, praying for their loved ones’ deployed.
Heaven help us gather the strength to punish those that put them in harm’s way. Help us find the needed leadership to right so many wrongs in this country.
God Bless the U.S. and our U.S. Citizens.

    -Amen

    Exodus 23:31-33
    New International Version
31 “I will establish your borders from the Red Sea to the Mediterranean Sea, and from the desert to the Euphrates River. I will give into your hands the people who live in the land, and you will drive them out before you.
32 Do not make a covenant with them or with their gods.
33 Do not let them live in your land or they will cause you to sin against me, because the worship of their gods will certainly be a snare to you.”

    1. The deaths are horrendous. Just as bad are the many wounded that now face a government that cares more for illegals than it does for veterans. Thie long journey to get help is just beginning
