July 20, 2012 ~ Rise of the Antichrist

An interesting read

I woke up this morning and realized that yesterday was the 250th post for theleansubmariner. I really appreciate the support of the people who have been visiting regularly as well as those who just pop in for something specific. My goal is to continue to try to provide interesting stories and editorial comments as long as I am able.

Today’s post is something I thought was pretty interesting considering that today is July 20th. I was looking for a significant reason to post about today and stumbled onto this http://www.v-a.com/rise_of_the_antichrist.html  It’s another bloggers site about the Rise of the Antichrist:

“Matthew 24 (excerpt): Jesus said to his Disciples, “Do you not see this temple? Not one stone thus shall remain upon another; it shall all be unraveled.”

They asked him, “When is the end of the world?”

Jesus said, “Beware that no one should mislead you, for many will come in my name, saying that I am the Messiah. You are destined to hear of hostilities and wars — do not be confused.

“For a nation shall rise against nation and kingdoms against kingdoms, and there will be famines, genocides and earthquakes in many places. These are the beginnings of the labor pains. Then they will deliver you and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations because of my name. Many will blaspheme and betray one another.

“Many false prophets will rise, and because of the great abomination, the love of many will vanish. But whoever maintains hope until the end, shall live the everlasting life.

“And this hope of the Kingdom shall be preached in all the universe, as testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come. Then the signs of the corrupting desolation that was spoken of by the prophet Daniel shall be seen standing in the holy place. Then if someone tells you, ‘Behold, here is the Messiah or there is the Messiah,’ do not believe it; for there shall rise false messiahs and false prophets, and they will do signs and wonders. They will try to mislead even the chosen; but, behold, I have warned you in advance.”

The Prophesy of Revelations 13:

Revelation 13:1-4, “And the Dragon stood on the sand of the sea, and I saw that Demon rising out of the sea, the Demon that has ten horns and seven heads, and on its heads the names of blasphemies. And the Demon that I saw resembled a tiger and his feet were like gold and its mouth like the mouth of lions, and the dragon gave it his power and his throne and great authority. And one of its heads, as though cut off and dying — yet from under its own death it pulled through — and the whole world was enthralled in the wake of that Demon. And they worshipped the dragon, since it gave authority to that Demon — and who could do battle with him?

The Demon who would blaspheme for 42 months

Revelation 13:5-8, “And he was given a mouth to utter abominations and blasphemies, and he was given authority to do so forty-two months.

“And the Demon opened his mouth to blaspheme against God, to blaspheme against His Name and His Abode, and against those who dwell in Heaven. And he was given authority over all generations and nations and tongues and peoples, and he was given authority to do battle with the saints and to defeat them. And they worshipped him, all of them who dwelled on earth, those whose name is not written in the book of Life, the Book of Life of the Lamb who was sacrificed from the foundations of the universe.

(42 months after the Americans betrayed Jesus will be July 20, 2012.)

Words of Admonition for the Faithful

Revelation 13:9-10, “If a human being has ears, then listen. If a human being takes captives, by captivity he will be taken. If a human being kills by the sword, he is destined to be killed by the sword. This is the justification for the hope and faithfulness of the saints.

Revelation 13:11-18, “And I saw another demon that rose from the earth, and he had two horns resembling those of a ram, and he spoke as a dragon. And all the powers of that first Demon he performed before them, and he made the world and those who dwell in it so that they would worship that first Demon, the one who became healed from under its own death. And he performed grandiose signs, whereas even fire fell from the sky over the earth, before humanity; and he misleads those who dwell on earth to be the slaves of the image of that Demon, the one who had been struck by the sword and had lived. And it was given to him to impart a spirit to the image of that Demon, and to command that all those who do not worship the image of that Demon to be killed. And he enslaved them all, the small and the famous and the rich and the poor and the children of the free and the slaves, whereas to be given a mark on their right hands or between their eyes, so that no one could sell or buy, except he who has the mark of that Demon or the number of his name. Here there is wisdom, whoever has a mind should count the number of that demon, for it is the number of a human being. And his number is six hundred and sixty-six.

(January 20, 2009 – July 20, 2012. Keep an eye on this date. It will be in 42 months, counting from the time that Americans as a nation betrayed Jesus.)”

It will be interesting to see how true this is. With the mass shootings in the Colorado Theater last night, the day is certainly not starting off very well.

  1. I’ve seen this reference some time ago and see it simply as a very bad piece of exegesis like so many other attempts to knock the square peg of current events into the round hole of biblical prophetic passages. What is really worth looking at is the heap of failed prognostications regarding who was, is, and will be the Antichrist. Just a couple of months ago (May) there were claims that Obama would be revealed as the Antichrist. For some reason, two days after it didn’t happen, the webpage disappeared. Shocker. If someone wants to peg who the Antichrist is…go to the source of the report (the Bible) and observe that the act of the “abomination that makes desolate” is the event that reveals the “son of perdition.” This happens in Jerusalem, not in Washington.

      1. Hi Mac…for some time, I’ve shied away from commenting on “prophetic things” although I’ve maintained a constant interest in the subject, especially since the initial stirrings of the Arab Spring (what a misnomer if you associate Spring with the birth of something positive) and the developments in Russia, Iran, and Turkey…all key players in any End-Time conversation. Then there’s the business going on in Syria which raises a few eyebrows when you consider that Bashir Al-Assad’s original family name is “the Beast” in Arabic and he resides in old Assyria where the prophet Daniel suggested the one who would desecrate the holy place would come from. Makes ya wonder, doesn’t it?
