Home at last.

After traveling around the world and the country for over 70 years, we made a decision to settle down for good. Our new place is nice and just the right size after a massive downsizing. But what makes it nice besides the fact that there are no stairs to navigate anymore is the people. We have met some really nice people both inside and outside of the community. There are clubs of every nature here. I am already in the photography club, the sportsman’s club and the writers club. But I am also in the Veterans Club.

The Veterans Club offers a chance for our community veterans to gather together for support and does some fund-raising projects during the year that supports area veterans. Debbie and recently volunteered for the pancake breakfast. It was fun to work together and meet so many of our neighbors.
