Some Advice for BHO

We were having a meal in a small restaurant nearby our temporary quarters tonight. Growing up in the seventies in the valley left me with some great AM musical memories. During the meal, an old favorite came on the restaurant’s muzak system.

I can only imagine that this would have been a most appropriate song in the Presidential Limo as they drove away last night. I believe that BHO would be able to appreciate it for the remainder of the pre-election period. We used to be able to call into the local AM station and dedicate songs to people we cared about. WIXZ 1360 was always on in my car…

As a tribute to last night, I would like to dedicate this song:

“Hold Your Head Up”

Hold Your Head Up

“And if it’s bad
Don’t let it get you down, you can take it
And if it hurts
Don’t let them see you cry, you can make it
Hold your head up, hold your head up
Hold your head up, hold your head high
Hold your head up, hold your head up
Hold your head up, hold your head high

And if they stare
Just let them burn their eyes on you moving
And if they shout
Don’t let them change a thing that you’re doing
Hold your head up, hold your head up
Hold your head up, hold your head high”

(Keep repeating the last two lines thirteen times to relive the original experience)

You just keep doing what you do Barrack – that mile high thing kicks everybody’s ass. I wouldn’t change a thing sir. Meanwhile, the Adult in the room last night will help you get ready for your post-presidential book tour which will start really soon.

God Bless America…

Mister Mac

I can almost imagine a young Barry in a smoke filled room in Hawaii having a doobie listening to this song and dreaming about how far out it would be if someday he was president… how cool would that be???. Riding around in a big blue plane, being a really big f-ing deal rock star, world tours, hot babes, hanging out with all the big time Hollywood types, Nobel Peace Prizes for doing nothing but being cool…

Hey, maybe he would even get to meet Clint Eastwood…

pass me that joint again man…
