This Is My Country
This is my country! Land of my birth!
This is my country! Grandest on earth!
I pledge thee my allegiance, America, the bold,
For this is my country to have and to hold.
Or can we really view it as one country anymore?
The reality started to sink in for me well before 2008.
The Democrat takeover of both the House and Senate allowed hard core leftists to go from being grenade throwers in the back benchers to being axe wielding progressives with agenda after agenda designed to fundamentally change America. Of course, you have to expect a few casualties along the way to their special brand of “leadership”.
Thank God Nancy spent some quality time with the butchers of Syria. Imagine how many more would already be dead. But as Nancy Pelosi kept telling us (until recently that is)
“It’s for the children”
Even Bill Clinton and his band of pirates recognized that America would accept small social changes as long as they didn’t destroy the engines that kept the economy going.
The money and groups that control Nancy and Harry are a different breed altogether.
Elitists from Hollywood who make millions form the Rubes in flyover country have the notion that their recent acquisition of money has magically transformed them into geniuses who know better than anyone.
Academia and out of touch ex-politicians supply their own version of what’s best for the unwashed masses on a daily basis.
Turn on any of the main stream outlets and you will see them spouting wisdom about things like global warming/cooling, violence in our cities, more government support for everything, how to fix your diet and life and on and on.
Unfortunately, they mostly contradict even themselves in most cases, but the glorious left leaning media props them up and hides their warts (unless they turn conservative of course).
Finally, you have the shadow masters like George Soros who delight in bringing down people’s economy and governments in order to line their own pockets.
God only knows who else is out there propping up the spiraling fall into socialism and progressivism. More on that in a minute.
All of these have led to a perfect storm in the figure of one Barrack Hussein Obama.
Fundamental change has been the mantra throughout. Change to a society and way of life that uses the best of what has been stored up over the previous 225 to shape the country into an enslaved workhouse. Progressivism always ends the same way.
Who is Barrack? I used to think no one knew for sure. Teleprompters and a compliant press corps don’t give you much to go on. But after three years of his reign, the answers are becoming more and more apparent.
He is a justice department that only has one definition of justice based on race and pent up frustration of inequities. His idea of justice is to try a Hispanic man in press conferences and support friends who hate the Po-Lice.
He is a state department that seeks to distance itself from its former allies and embrace radical Muslim groups like the Muslim brotherhood and infiltrate the very mechanisms that were supposed to protect us from the only sworn enemy we have on the face of the earth today: radical Muslims
He is the EPA that wants to crucify the producers of the most abundant energy we have available.
He also doles out your money by the billions in order to pay back cronies on phony solar power projects that later fall apart.
He is the traveller in chief entertaining his family and friends while the rest of the country struggles to pay their mortgage. Then he uses his other face to lecture us about spending money foolishly before rushing off for another round of golf.
There are hundreds of other indicators of who the man is and none of them bode well for the America you grew up in. Frankly, its not too good for the rest of the world either. As the world teeters on the edge of financial ruin, he steadfastly stands by his tax cheating secretary of the treasury who can’t even figure out turbo tax. Fires rage in Syria and Nancy Pelosi’s friend kills his own people with abandon.
We fiddle fuddle away every opportunity to show real leadership in Iran, North Korea, and the entire Western Hemisphere because Barrack wants to show the world we are different from what we once were… as if that’s a good thing. Take another bow please.
When the events of the past four years are analyzed in the clear light of day without the heavy hand of a controlling government and compliant media, the Crucifixion of American Exceptionalism will be shown as the root cause of ever single calamity we are facing. Barrack will finally be known by the entire world and I don’t think they will see “Rock Star” on his intro this time around. Even with the new turn to singing, he will still not make it to the role of American Idol he worked his whole adult life seeking.
I don’t think there is much time left to correct the course, but I am confident that there are still enough people that love freedom and America that we can. One bright spot not long ago: The New York Times has finally started asking the one question we were all convinced was to racist to ask:
Who is Barrack Hussein Obama?
The place to start looking is to relentlessly seek out the people who put this empty suit on the stage. It is not racist to ask why they hate America so much. Their hatred is visible since they gave us the man and his crony’s.
As the media tires of being his slobbering footstool, more questions are finally being asked. Has he lost his mojo? Where is the love now? Will the media that installed him finally have the courage and the will to do their jobs and answer the question the New York Times is finally getting around to answer?
I guess we’ll see if this is more important than the loss of our freedom.
Wait until his loyal base finds out he spent all the Obama Money.
I think they are going to be a bit angry.
With hand upon heart I thank the Lord For this my native land,
For all I love is here within her gates.
My soul is rooted deeply in the soil on which I stand,
For these are mine own United States.
This is my country! Land of my choice!
This is my country! Hear my proud voice!
I pledge thee my allegiance, America, the bold,
For this is my country! To have and to hold.
